Sarah and Daniel Wedding, Islington Reportage Wedding Photographer

What a hectic day! This was no ordinary wedding as it combined the cultures from two contrasting continents, Sarah from SE Asia and Danny from South America. This was a full on day of shooting and it was just pure excitement all the way through, starting with Heng Tais, a traditional Chinese start to the wedding day. This consisted of the Groom proving to the Brides family and friends that he is worth of her. On this particular day this included eating donuts without using hands, licking chocolate of cling film (I know, madness!) and having his legs waxed!!! Poor chap! The culmination of the day ended with ‘The Crazy Hour’, known as La Hora Loca in Venezuela, where by all the guests donned masks and hats to celebrate the wedding of Sarah and Danny! One mad day but some great wedding photographs.

Sarah & Daniel – A Knightsbridge Engagement Shoot | London Wedding Photographer

What can I say, Sarah and Daniel were a joy to photograph during their engagement shoot in Knightsbridge. Both looked stunning and were up for anything (lying in the middle of a busy road for instance, need I say more??).

After initially shooting in Hans Place where Daniel proposed to Sarah, we ended up in Hyde Park. I cannot wait to shoot their Wedding in Islington in a few weeks time. The mix of Asian and Venezuelan cultures should make some great shots!

Allan & Liu – A Richmond Park Engagement Shoot by a Reportage Wedding Photographer

I’m not sure if it was pure luck, good planning or a bit of both but I’m glad I made the decision to get to Richmond Park early for Allan and Liu’s Engagement Shoot. For it was a Bank Holiday and I should have known better that it was going to be busy! It took me about two hours driving round and round the car park near Pembroke Lodge looking for space. In the end I managed to find a space and still had plenty of time to walk around and do a bit of location spotting. Allan and Liu turned up, both looked stunning and both were great to shoot! The shoot was a lot of fun, initial shots starting at Pembroke Lodge and ending up at the lake in the park. I can not wait to shoot their wedding in November at Avenue House in Finchley.
